I forgot that I saw Merzbow. (How one could forget this, I'm not sure.) You will be pleased to know that when I saw him -- at an auditorium on the UT campus -- he blew up a PA speaker within the first five minutes and we had to sit around and wait for half an hour for the show to resume with a new speaker. You'd think they would have anticipated this possibility and had a spare on hand....
