I have to say I hear you on the confluence bit. I went to an extra action show recently and a friend told me how it was formed by some old crash worship people. A band I hadn't even thought about in ages (and sadly never managed to see perform live while they were active). I dug up an old CD and was looking about online for information to rekindle my memory and came across your site and I had never before made the connection that you'd also published ongaku otaku. I was down in LA a week later and was telling a friend about it all (as he'd originally gotten me into crash worship) I and I guess he had been going through a similar point of rediscovery around the same time. Go figure. At any rate, great to find you're still actively working in the music scene and thanks to things like websites and rss feeds I can keep abreast of more recent developments easily now!
